Becoming a Student

NEBOSH has over 35 years experience of offering health, safety, environmental and risk management qualifications in the UK, with exams taken in over 120 countries worldwide.  Our qualifications are updated regularly and are designed to be robust, relevant and accessible.  For those looking for a career in health and safety there are clear routes of progression from Certificate to professional Diploma level qualifications.  For further information about NEBOSH itself, click the ‘About NEBOSH’ tab at the top of the screen.

Where to study
NEBOSH has a robust process for accrediting course providers to deliver NEBOSH qualifications.  The course provider accreditation procedure establishes that a course provider has the procedures and resources in place to deliver a training programme that meets NEBOSH requirements for the qualification(s) to be delivered while maintaining the integrity of the assessment process.

Although it is NEBOSH who develop syllabuses and examination and assessment criteria it is the accredited NEBOSH course providers who are responsible for the teaching of NEBOSH qualifications, the development and maintenance of course materials and the selection of teaching venues.

When selecting a course provider students should consider which course and mode of study is suitable for their needs.  If you need further assistance with this selection then please contact our Customer Services Team on + 44(0)116 2634700 or info@nebosh.org.uk
