Major disasters, power-struggles, protests, wars...

Thankfully, we haven't really seen any of these at NEBOSH. But there's been a lot going on in the world around us since 1979.

So when we decided to look back at our own history, we thought we'd look at the wider-world too over the past three decades - from 'Who Shot JR' to Swine Flu.

Dip into our timeline in the 1980s1990s2000s and 2010s and you'll discover things like - when the first NEBOSH exams took place, who our 50,000th learner was, and how we lost all of our computers to thieves, more than once!

You'll also find out what NEBOSH was like at the time of the Kings Cross Fire, the birth of the World Wide Web and Concorde's final flight.

And we haven't forgotten the most important bit. What our learners have done.

Throughout this site you'll discover case studies revealing the stories behind some of our successful learners. Things they've achieved, places they've been and what their NEBOSH qualifications have meant to them.
