Our previous winners
The Michael Adamson NEBOSH Diploma Scholarship was first introduced in 2021. Many of our winners have shared with us what it means to be a scholarship recipient, and their experiences studying for the qualification.
"Studying for the NEBOSH Diploma was both rewarding and challenging, especially in balancing work and study. This balance was key to my success, providing practical, real-world context to my learning. With my goal of 'protect the workers, protect the means, and get home alive', the programme equipped me with up-to-date industry best practices to tackle workplace challenges and advance my career. I highly recommend the Diploma to anyone considering it. Although demanding, the investment in time and resources is invaluable for professional growth and development."
Michael Ojonugwa Akor, Scholarship recipient and now NEBOSH Diploma holder
"My NEBOSH Diploma journey was exciting and enlightening. It required hard work, which became evident in my workplace improvements. It was a holistic study that adequately targeted every HSE need, and the knowledge acquired was instrumental when I was required to set up an HSE department from scratch in my previous role. It would be a great idea to give it your best efforts in applying [for the scholarship], considering its competitive nature, the confidence to implement change as a result of the knowledge gained and the opportunities available after completion. This will be worth your while."
