NEBOSH appoints new Directors & Trustees

NEBOSH - The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health - has appointed three new Directors & Trustees, Kenneth James, Katherine Grimshaw, and Bryan McCracken.

In welcoming the appointments, David Morris, Chairman of NEBOSH, commented: “The Directors & Trustees play a significant part in steering NEBOSH to its goal; to be the leading global provider of health and safety qualifications.  Our new board members each bring important skills and experience to the governance of NEBOSH.”

Ken James recently retired as CEO of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply; a 44,000 strong professional membership organisation and ofqual-accredited awarding body. He has considerable experience in international development, strategic planning and change management, in addition to his professional background in sales and marketing. 

Kathy Grimshaw is a consultant in international business development specialising in developing overseas markets for UK qualifications.  Previously she spent 27 years with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) holding director-level appointments in corporate development and international development. She was responsible for establishing CIMA in India and China, and for global marketing, communications and public relations.

Bryan McCracken, has been a tutor on NEBOSH courses for the last 10 years and examiner for the last five.  He will be representing the views of NEBOSH course providers in the Further Education sector.
