NEBOSH to attend Safety and Health Expo

NEBOSH will be exhibiting at the Safety and Health Expo this month, the market leading annual exhibition for the health and safety industry.

Safety and Health Expo has established itself as the definitive UK industry event consistently attracting health and safety decision makers from multiple sectors and with responsibilities across UK, Europe and international markets.

Coinciding for the first time ever with the IOSH conference, the event is designed to meet the needs of the UK and international health and safety industry. It will provide unrivalled educational programmes alongside the very latest, and most innovative, products to market.

As part of the conference, NEBOSH Chief Executive Teresa Budworth will be chairing a panel discussion on Managing behavioural attitudes and perceptions in low risk vs. high risk environments. The panel will feature health and safety practitioners from different industry sectors who will discuss how they tackle their respective challenges. This session will examine how issues faced by ‘low-risk’ (eg office-based) facilities should not be overlooked, and how approaches to dealing with the health and safety hazards in such workplaces are often similar to those employed in higher-risk (eg oil and gas) facilities.

NEBOSH will be in attendance at the exhibition on Stand N2450. Employers, safety managers and training providers will have the opportunity to find out more about NEBOSH’s range of globally recognised qualifications and the benefits they can bring.

The event is taking place from the 17 – 19 June 2014 at ExCEL London. Further information about the event and the registration process are available at http://www.safety-health-expo.co.uk
