Why we're looking at facilitative mediation on World Mental Health Day:

Work-related stress can significantly impact health and hinder job performance for both us and our staff. It also increases the risk of mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Stress contributes to lower productivity, more errors, higher absenteeism, increased accidents, staff turnover, and overall poor performance.

Whilst HSE* management standards for work-related stress emphasise the significance of managing relationships within organisations to prevent conflicts and address unacceptable behaviour, it's important to acknowledge that conflicts between colleagues can and do arise.
That's precisely why this World Mental Health Day we're organising a webinar to delve into the effectiveness of facilitative mediation as a means to resolve workplace disagreements.

Learning for you and your organisation:

In the webinar, we' delve into practical mediation techniques, recognise the bravery of those willing to engage in mediation, and offer managers a range of approaches that they themselves can adopt when mediating between parties.

World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health - read more here.
