NEBOSH welcomes HSE to 2018 Graduation and Awards Ceremony

Martin Temple CBE, Chair of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) once again celebrated with successful Diploma students at NEBOSH’s annual Graduation and Awards Ceremony.

Among the nearly 800 Diplomates, friends, family and course providers celebrating were some of the 100 HSE inspectors who have been awarded the NEBOSH Diploma in Regulatory Occupational Health and Safety; a qualification developed for exclusively for the HSE and studied by all new health and safety inspectors.

Addressing the Diploma holders, Martin, this year’s guest of honour, emphasised the role that health and safety has to play in enabling business. He said: “This ceremony marks your success in gaining these well regarded and sought-after qualifications. You’re on the first important step in a journey where you can make a difference, to one person or to a whole organisation. Apply your knowledge well, continue to learn, inspire and motivate others and keep your minds young so that you can find creative ways to enable activity.”
