NEBOSH to attend A-OSH EXPO, Africa

Tuesday, 20 March 2018

NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Health and Safety) will be attending A-OSH Expo at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg this May.

Now in its eighth year, this three day event gives thousands of delegates the opportunity to discover NEBOSH’s range of internationally recognised qualifications in health, safety and environmental management.

In a recent survey, nearly half of NEBOSH students in Africa said that completing a NEBOSH qualification had helped to start their health and safety career while 80% agreed that it had helped to develop their career. One of those people was Jacques Krog, SHEQ Manager at Refraline in South Africa. He holds the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and the NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management.

Jacques said “NEBOSH elevates your technical knowledge immensely and I’ve found it to be very valuable. It’s great to see more and more of my peers taking NEBOSH qualifications and that more recruiters and employers are asking for it.”

Stuart Naylor, NEBOSH Director of Relationship Management, said “We take great pride in the contribution our qualifications make to supporting people to start and progress in their health and safety careers. All of our qualifications are designed to give our students the knowledge and practical skills they need to keep staff safe in the workplace.”

NEBOSH invites any employers, potential students and training providers, to visit our stand to find out more about our globally recognised qualifications and the benefits they can bring. Visit our team on stand B04 for more information.

The event is taking place on 22 – 24 May 2018 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.
