Lord Jordan of Bournville has been announced as a NEBOSH Ambassador in a newly improved programme from one of the world’s leading health and safety exam boards.

Together, NEBOSH and its Ambassadors will campaign for and influence their sectors, their governments and their organisations to create even safer and healthier workplaces for people all over the world.

Chosen for their deep and long-standing interest in health and safety, this elite community will support NEBOSH to achieve its charitable vision and mission. In return they will gain exclusive access to NEBOSH’s research and resource insights into the health, safety and environmental sector.

NEBOSH Chief Executive, Ian Taylor, said: “NEBOSH’s work in raising standards of health and safety education over the past 40 years has been critical to the improvement of workplace safety. I am delighted that some of the most inspirational people from the sector, in particular Lord Jordan, have agreed to join our Ambassador community, ensuring NEBOSH furthers its influence in workplaces across the world.”

Lord Jordan, former President and now Deputy President of RoSPA, added: “It is a special honour to be NEBOSH’s Ambassador and it will be a privilege to be part of the team working to build on their internationally recognised achievement of spreading and embedding safety standards across the world of work.”
