NEBOSH begin search for new Chair

The Trustees of NEBOSH today launched their search to identify a successor to David Morris as Chair. David will retire in March 2011 when he completes his third term.

Teresa Budworth, NEBOSH Chief Executive explained: “We have started seeking a successor now in order to allow time for a broad search and to ensure a smooth transition for the new Chair.”

She continued: “David will be a very hard act to follow. Under his leadership NEBOSH has grown substantially by the development of new products and expansion into overseas markets. Last year over 30,000 people sat a NEBOSH qualification in 81 countries. The new Chair will help to shape our strategy, potentially through to 2020.”
