British Safety Council accredited to teach NEBOSH courses

NEBOSH is pleased to announce that the British Safety Council (BSC) has become an accredited centre to teach NEBOSH qualifications.

Teresa Budworth, NEBOSH’s Chief Executive commented: “We welcome BSC to our team of accredited course providers.”

“We at NEBOSH strongly believe that we have an obligation to work with other charitable organisations in promoting health and safety, particularly through education and training.”

She continues “NEBOSH works closely with all of its accredited centres and looks forward to supporting the BSC in the future.”

Brian Nimick, Chief Executive of the BSC, said: “The decision to offer NEBOSH courses is in keeping with our mission to support a healthier, safer and more sustainable society.  With 241 deaths at work last year, it is vital that people working in the health and safety world are trained to the highest standards to be able to reduce deaths and injuries in the workplace.”

He continues “By offering NEBOSH courses alongside our own, students will now have even better access to qualification programmes of the highest standard.”
