NEBOSH to attend the inaugural SAFETY India 2014 Exhibition and Conference

Health, safety and environmental examinations body NEBOSH will be attending the inaugural Safety India 2014 exhibition and conference later this month.

The event, which has been organised by the American Society of Safety Engineers, aims to advance Occupational Safety and Health to save lives. NEBOSH Chief Executive, Teresa Budworth, is one of the global speakers who will share best practice and new trends in the Occupational Safety and Health field during the two day event.

Teresa commented: “We have witnessed a significant increase in demand for our qualifications throughout the world in recent years. More than 60% of all NEBOSH examinations are now taken outside the UK.

“India, alongside Asia and the Middle East, has helped to establish NEBOSH as a global benchmark of excellence in the field of health and safety, which is why we are delighted to attend and support this new event.”
NEBOSH will have a stand (S30) at the exhibition which runs alongside the conference. Employers, safety managers and training providers will have the opportunity to find out more about NEBOSH’s range of globally recognised qualifications and the benefits they can bring.

The event is taking place from the 26 -27 May 2014 at The Leela Palace, Chennai India. Further information about the event and the registration process are available at http://www.safetyindia2014.org/
