Global beauty brand L’Oréal partnered with health and safety organisation, NEBOSH, to offer a bursary which enables women to pursue a career in occupational health and safety. This year, offering twenty women, based internationally, paid-for study and assessment fees for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

The NEBOSH L’Oréal International Bursary attracted over 2000 applications from women around the world who want to develop their learning, careers and positively influence workplace health and safety.

The judges were drawn to the applicants because of their genuine, emotive stories and their clear passion for protecting the lives of their colleagues and communities. They praised the highly energetic delivery, strong communication skills and captivating video submissions. The twenty winners represent countries from South Africa, Nigeria, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, Mexico, Eswatini, Pakistan, Qatar, Germany, and Jordan. They are:

One of the winners, Lisa Mangwende, said: “Receiving the NEBOSH L'Oreal Bursary is truly an honour, and l am deeply grateful for this incredible opportunity.
