NEBOSH is proud to be participating in the INLS Boost Summit 2026, at the IPAM/European University Auditorium – Lisbon Technology Park on 2 October 2026. The theme is QHSE in dysfunctional scenarios: competence, behaviour, and talent.

Recent disruptive events - such as power outages, extreme weather phenomena, and regional conflicts - have posed significant challenges to business continuity and the operational stability of organizations. In this context, HSE professionals are called upon to adapt quickly and effectively, ensuring the resilience of operations.

The objectives of this event are:

  • Develop critical HSE competencies geared towards contexts of uncertainty and change;
  • To promote the transformation of these skills into observable and sustainable behaviours;
  • Explore strategies to attract, develop, and retain talent in QHSE roles;
  • Reflecting on the role of human capital as a key factor in organizational adaptation and growth.

During the morning, the focus will be on acquiring and consolidating skills. The afternoon session will be dedicated to strategic talent management and its relevance to organisational resilience.

As part of the event programme our very own, Sophie Edwards, Head of UK & EU Learning Partner Business Development, will deliver a presentation on 'Leadership, Culture and the Language of Safety'
