NEBOSH assessments taken in Africa continue to rise

The number of people taking NEBOSH assessments in the African region reached a new high in 2014/5. Figures released by NEBOSH show that over 14,000 of its health, safety and environmental assessments were taken in the region during the last 12 months, compared to around 4,500 in 2010.

“As an international examination board offering vocational qualifications we’re delighted by this sustained growth,” said Stuart Naylor, NEBOSH International Manager. “It is a reflection of the continuing commitment to improving standards in health, safety and environmental management in the Region.

“We take great pride in the contribution our qualifications make towards safeguarding people and their futures in workplaces around the world.”
