National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (November 2015 specification)

NEBOSH is delighted to announce the publication of the new specification for the National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

The syllabus has been revised in line with its normal development cycle and following the most extensive research NEBOSH has ever undertaken. The research was carried out with past and present students, employers and NEBOSH’s accredited course providers.

This Guide remains the copyright of NEBOSH. The information in this publication may be reproduced in support of NEBOSH qualifications. If it is reproduced, NEBOSH should be clearly acknowledged as the source. If it is to be used for any other purpose, written permission must be obtained from NEBOSH.

Timetable of events and transitional arrangements:

October 2016

Students who are enrolled on the current specification and have units outstanding will be automatically transferred to the November 2015 Specification. The marks for any passes achieved up to that point (A, B, C, D) will be transferred over to the new specification.

January and July 2017 examinations

Only content that is common to both the current and new specification will be assessed at these examination sittings.

February 2017

First submission date for the new Unit DNI assignment.

January 2018 examinations onwards

Only content that features in the new National and International Diploma specifications will be examined.
